Visual Management Boards
Visual management boards are display boards, that map out how fast a project or goal needs to be done, how many people and with what expertise it will take to complete the project or goal, and all of this is listed in a snap shot.

Visual Boards

There are several types of visual management boards: ongoing improvement boards, tools, codes and how to use them boards, and status situation of certain projects and goals boards. The visual boards should have a natural flow of information, the colors and highlighting should be used in a way that is self explanatory. The initials and code words should have a decipher section that explains everything, and the connection to these words should be very easy to make.

The boards should be displayed boldly with the main objectives visible right away. The main visions of the company or department must be easily seen. There should be a break down of individual, department or area goals, plan of attack, employees involved etc. The more one gets involved with the visual board they should be able to see a deeper more specific design to it. There should be designated time allotments, deadlines, specific goals and activities. There should also be a a focus of current issues and a plan for avoiding future issues.

Basically Visual Management Boards are boards that displays all aspects of a project , goal or plan, and all of its components, displayed in a concise, brief manner, that is easily understandable. Everything that can be envisioned can be placed on one of these boards. Start with a plan of action or an idea and use the board to execute every aspect of the plan, from the vision, to the workers input, to the cost and final outcome. Creativity and ideas can be made to come to life on a vision board.
